Young British Columbians for Better Governance ( YBC4BG) represents the interests of young people and families in the province of British Columbia by promoting policies that advance the lives of young British Columbians , fostering civic engagement and, preparing and promoting the next generation of municipal leaders.
YBC4BG is committed to building a vibrant, inclusive, and responsible youth movement that reflects the diversity of British Columbia. Guided by principles of inclusion, evidence-based policy, and cooperation, YBC4BG empowers youth to engage in political life, contribute to policy development, and advance the candidacies of like-minded individuals.

Our group is currently in the process of researching and developing policies that we can present to candidates that are elected in the 2026 Municipal so they can take actions that are grounded in the experiences and needs of Young British Columbians.
